Welcome to High School Chemistry!

Chlorine-- by itself-- will kill you. Sodium-- by itself-- will kill you. Chlorine and Sodium, taken together, go GREAT on fries. Why is this? Why is water so important for the existence of life on Earth? Why is water called the universal solvent?

 

We're gonna learn why the universe can get so astoundingly complicated while using the most basic of rules. What is the difference between a high explosive and a low explosive? (There might even be the occasional ACTUAL explosion!)
