CCHS Student of the Month

December-  Yrenea Medina (11th Grade).  She always projects a positive attitude that is felt even through a virtual environment.  Yrenea frequently initiates positive, relationship forming/maintaining, conversations in a caring and positive manner.  She is always willing to help in class, as exhibited by her positively worded messages on Chat whenever my microphone is off or other such technicalities.  Yrenea exhibits qualities of excellent leader potential as she is not only a self advocate but advocates for her peers as well.   Nominated by Dr. Cadena
 
January-  Angelina Hernandez (10th Grade) Angelina exemplifies excellence in all she does, she has had perfect attendance, is punctual, courteous and polite.  I can always count on her to be at class on live sessions.  She is kind and encourages others as well as motivates me, consistently demonstrating interest and eagerness to learn, enthusiastic about any assignment or content we are covering.  She is a joy to teach and she contributes very positive energy and just has a great attitude/vibe.  From day one, she has stood out as a student who radiates positivity.  Nominated by Mrs. D. February- Tessa Sturgeon (12th Grade) She is a senior and in my PFL class right now she is averaging a grade between 99 and 100, she takes dual  credit classes and many sciences courses planning to go to nursing school at UT. She has participated in many activities through her high school years making her a well rounded individual. She has perfect attendance and overall great attitude.  Nominated by Mr. Dodge
