Today, we take a closer look at literary elements in "The Necklace" and we will also see the Flocabulary video about our text. For attendance, you must view entire video on Flocabulary about the story. This is our assignment for grade and our lesson. NOTE t hat the Close Read-Google Form-is like a quiz. When you open and begin, you will not be able to open other tabs on your device. Be sure you have read or listened to "The Necklace" before you begin the form.

You have the Flocabulary vocabulary game as your assignment today, as well as the online book will be assigned (It's on page 287-294) if you have your textbook). YOU WILL have one question to answer on page 295-#2- a, b, c, and d

Once you complete the test you must record your responses on DMAC. DO not open DMAC unless you are ready to key in all your answers as it times you out, then you are locked out until an administrator can unlock your account. I would suggest you take the test, write your answers on a piece of paper, then transfer them over to DMAC.

After you complete your TEST, you have to submit your responses to DMAC. Your ID # should be your lunch number, but it should be 6 digits long. If it is not, add zeros to the front of your ID number in order for it to work properly. Ex. if your ID # is 12345, then you would have to make it 012345 in order for it to work. If your number is 2345, then you would have to make it 002345.

You are going to preview the texts that appear on the six week exam tomorrow. Today, annotate the story by adding a hashtag next to each paragraph. For the poem, annotate with a hashtag for each stanza of poem.

Please take a few minutes to watch this FLASHBACK video of a game we will play in our class for academic and ordinary language. This game is called Password and I expect you'll know how to play when we do use it for our class. Comment with two of the "passwords" from this episode with Lucille Ball and her son to get credit for this assignment.
